EXHIBITION COMMISSIONING

ARTIST REPRESENTATION : COLLECTION PROPOSALS

PUBLISHING : BOOKS, PUBLICATIONS, EDITIONS
Throughout its seven years of activity in the Le Marais district of Paris (1998-2005), the Nathalie Parienté Gallery has shown the work of up-and-coming and established artists in the fields of photography, painting and video, as well as some themed exhibitions. The gallery has also taken part in numerous fairs, including FIAC, ARTBRUSSELS and ARCO in Madrid.

At the close of those seven years, a new, so-called 'Outside the walls' exhibition policy has become a necessity.

The aim is to display artists' work in a novel and relevant way, in 'other' venues, to create a correspondence between the identity of the sponsor and of the receiving space and the very purpose of their work.

Set in a different context, a special light will be shed on their works. The following projects have therefore just been completed:

Barbara & Michael Leisgen. Light time displayed at the Axel Vervoordt Kanaal Gallery in Antwerp in 2005: a retrospective of the work of German photographers.

Joan Fontcuberta. Sciences-Friction, at the Hôtel-Dieu Museum in Mantes-la-Jolie in 2005. Five works created between 1982 and 2004 by the Catalan plastic artist and photographer.

Gaël Davrinche. Dépeindre et Repeindre (Portrayal and Repainting), at the Soissons Museum, then at the Fondation Atelier de Sèvres, Paris in 2006: a first solo exhibition for the French artist born in 1971.

Nathalie Parienté's new approach aims to offer artists a venue in resonance with their work.
